Question about HP Compaq nc8000 Notebook
Upon startup the display just goes black. The computer continues to boot up, as indicated by the disk light. Sometimes it stays on longer than others, but eventually goes out.
At this moment it is up in Safe Mode and on battery. I'll run a good scan to see if there is a detectible virus. Could there be something wrong with the A/C power input? Normally I have it plugged in.
Can you take out your battery and plug in the power to check if your battery is faulty? if yes, you need to replace it.
