Question about Magellan Maestro 4250 GPS
I just got a refurbished Magellan Maestro 4250...Went to test it out and it froze up and rebooted on us 3 times within 30 minutes. How do I fix this or do I need to send it back.
I just purchased a referb from TigerDirect and the only issue I discovered was a lockup when the unit goes to sleep. Try holding down the power button for 15 seconds then release it to cycle the unit. Then hold the power button down again for 5 second to start it back up. I had to do this for my bluetooth to work and not freeze up. Now I just turn it on and off manually and avoid having it go to sleep. I also downloaded the firmware update to 4.86, you can download it from Magellan's website. My unit works great so if that doesn't work contact Magellan and I'm sure they will have a solution.
