Do you have to take every screw out of the back of the dishwasher to remove the service panel. Thanks

  • ns090672 May 30, 2009

I took the service panel of my haier table top dishwasher hdt18pa to find the leak and it looks like it leaks where the water is going into the bottom spinner. Any solutions. Thanks

1.Unscrew the bottom panel, be sure to mark the screws with two different colored markers (i.e red and black), there is 2 set of screws a longer set and a shorter set, mark the holes as well so you know which screw goes in what hole. Be careful with the front panel with the on/off switch, it will come loose, just be conscious of it. Once you open the bottom panel look closely inside, you should see a black rubber plug about 1 inch long that has fallen loose, retrieve the plug. The motor in the middle of the machine has a small outlet pipe that the plug fits onto, just plug the outlet pipe hole with the rubber plug.
2.When putting the the panel's back on be sure to put the 2 screws that hold the motor on first, but do not tighten any of the screws all the way down until you get the screws all in. Finished

Pull service panel at base of dish washer and tell me if water is underneath. Should read owners manuel if you have it. most likely leaking from where it connects to kitchen sink or a loose drain hose under the unit. Easy fix if this us the true problem

Garbage disposal leaking on the bottom?

DO NOT RUN THE UNIT UNTIL YOU STOP THE LEAK!!!
Either the sink seal is leaking or the internal motor shaft seal is bad. If it is the motor seal and the unit is more than 5 years old, replace the disposal. Replace the seal only if you have the appropriate skill.

My toro 6.5 hp leaks oil at the bottom of the engine runs ok

If this is the vertical shaft motor, there is a seal at the bottom where the crank shaft exits the case. On the vertical motors I've taken apart, the bottom of the case is like an oil pan. It is possible that you could have a crack in the case. But also check the oil drain plug to be tight, but not too tight. This could also cause a crack in the motor case.

The fan running is normal. you need to find where the coolant is leaking. If there are no visable leaks. then suspect the radiator/reservoir cap.

Badger 5 is leaking from bottom of unit... is this repairable? Thanks Chad

If it is leaking from the bottom and not from the top and running down the side then it is only repaiable by replacing the disposal, If it the top leaking and running down the side, then it can be rpaired by replacing the rubber gasket on the top.

What dose it mean when your washer leaks from the bottom

make sure it is leaking from the bottom!

sometimes there is a problem with the dispenser leaking which in turn runs down the trim of the machine, around the door housing and looks like it's from under the machine - look for evidence of this in the form of run lines from the bottom centre of the door. If this is the case you will need to either clean the dispenser housing or replace it depending on the level of soiling.

If it is an actual leak from the bottom of the machine the you'll have either a perished pipe or work connections

Hover steam vacume F5864

Is it running out of the bottom of the tank, or at the bottom of the machine. If at the bottom, you have a water line off. If at the bottom of the tank, there is a water seal that the tank sits on, may have to replace that.
