Question about Epson Stylus Photo R1900 InkJet Printer
I own an Epson R1900 printer. I can't select Velvet Fine Art Paper as media type unless page setup is manual/roll. I want to use the sheet feeder nor manual/roll which, according to Epson, is the appropriate way to load Velvet Fine Art Paper (sheets). But, if I select sheet feeder, the Velvet Fine Art Paper media type is not available to choose from (it is grayed out). Any advice?
I had the same problem, same printer. So with a little checking I found a solution. The paper has to be fed through the single page paper feeder. (See manual to setup. Can be downloaded from Epson.) Select manual/roll in the page setup section when you're ready to print. For instance, I was using 8.5 X 11 velvet, so select letter > then subset of roll/manual. After doing this velvet and other specialty paper profiles were selectable.
