Iriver E10.....wont play songs

hi,
i have an E10.
i erased all my songs and put fresh lot of songs on it.
now,it wont play any songs...
it just reads the title of each song,then goes to the next song..
just titles of songs on the screen,no music.
also,even tho i erase it...the old song titles are still coming up...
what should i do?
i tried downloading the latest update from the iriver website...
but it wouldnt open on my p/c.
im running vista business.
