No media being played on TV

Hi I have just bought this media centre and cannot get it to work. when I connect to my pc I can access it ok but i get nothing when I connect to my TV. I can turn it on by the power button but nothing on the remote works and to turn it off I have to unplug the unit because it wont turn off even with the power button! My woxter i-cube x-div 35 xp pro was working fine untill i formatedd the damn thing. After that i tried installing movies on it. Everything works fine but when i try to play any video or song, it says no file to play. I think i deleted the configuration file in the HDD which is needed to run the movies or music in the cube. does any one know what to do???

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hi, you don't connect to the DG-HDMP500TT from your desktop.

The device connects to the wireless so you can access the internet from the device and only for limited sites like youtube etc.

Windows media centre decoder in use

Media centre can use a numnber of codecs to do this job, you just need to make sure it has a choice. You need to download & install a codec pack. Microsoft has one which you can find on the website but the most comprehensive one is KL Codec pack. Google it & install the standard version, just use all the default settings & that will fix your problem.

Hi there.

I had the same problem. I solved mine by re-downloading the Optional Media Update from xbox live, and everything was fine after that.

Hope that works for you too.

Media centre control panel not working

You may be having the same problem I have. There is a ribbon cable that connects the front panel to the main control board. Mine has pulled loose where it connects to the printed circuit board that the buttons "connect" to. I would not suggest taking it apart. I'm in the process of trying to find someone who can repair mine.
