Maybe try to look for a local repair shop in your area that services Olympus cameras. You can go to google and search for Authorized Olympus repair facilities by state.

My E 300 works fine with the 14-45 3.5-5.6 lens, bright viewfinder and good photos. However, with the 40-150 3.5-4.5 lens the viewfinder went dark abd photos are overexposed. Problem went back and forth...

I assume this happens while your camera is in the automatic mode. Because if the camera is in manual, you can't assume both lenses give the same light to the sensor.
But I should look if the contacts on the lens and in the camera, ale all clean and shiny. And not one of the contacts is allowed a dent. Not even a little dent. All contacts must be flexible. Then be sure the Aperture setting on the 40-150 must be correct. The camera manual does not say a thing about the settings on the lens, but I should look there too.

Pictures comes out with a hallow and wavy in the viewfinder the pics are ok

Clean both front and rear lenses of the optical viewfinder. However, if you mean the screen on the back of the camera, then it is faulty, and the only solution is to live with the problem, or buy a new camera.
This solution applies to most digital cameras.

I have a Olympus C-750 UltraZoom. I was taking pictures and everything was normal, but then I noticed the viewfinder was blurry. I was walking through a tunnel under a river and I thought the temperature...

Hi Steve, I inform you that the problem only is moisture. Please follow this.
1. Put the camera in sunlight for few hours. After that use it & if you face same problem then
2. You need to visit camera repair shop and they open the camera completely and clean all the inside part of the camera. because you need to clean the moisture inside of lens, viewfinder & sensor too.
So only hope in sunlight. If its solve then fine.

Image in viewfinder slightly unfocused, photo clear.

Either your viewfinder needs to be cleaned or your camera needs to be cleaned. Most of the time it is the mirror in the camera that is causing this issue and cleaning it will make everything better.

Olympus om-2 cvamera lenses

You are able to use your old OM lenses with a new Olympus digital SLR camera. You will need to purchase an MF-OM 1 lens adapter to be able to connect these lenses to the digital SLR camera. Also when using these lenses you will only be able to use the camera in manual focus mode as these lenses are not capable to shhot with an auto focus mode.

Pinkish streaks in viewfinder on Olympus FE-230

The problem you are describing is a problem with one of the chips in the camera that controls image processing. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced.

Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if outside of the one year factory warranty. The cost is $73.85 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.

Lense Damage in side

It depends on the nature of the damage. What are the symptoms? For example, does it fail to zoom in and out, does it fail to focus properly, do you see something out of the ordinary when you look through the viewfinder? Have you taken some test pictures? If so, what did the photos look like. If you can give me the specifics, I can probably advise you correctly.

Olympus Camedia C-2020 Zoom - always reads low battery and then "dies"

Safe way - Try using brand new and fully charged NiMh.

Not for novice - Battery contact points may need cleaning. Use contact cleaner with a cotton swab.

Do not try - Spraying contact cleaner or WD-40 in battery compartment.

Last option - Service center.

Attaching non-Olympus lenses

The E-500 body has a "bayonet" twist & click attachment for the lens. There is no way that a simple screw threaded lens can attach to the camera directly. The lens that you have are designed to screw into the front of the original Olympus lens. I have seen some of these adverts on auction sites and they are worded something like "The wide angle / Tele lenses are simply mounted in the front of the Olympus EVOLT E-500 / E-330 / E-300 standard ZUIKO Digital EZ 14-45mm lens, or any other lens with 58mm filter thread." Which maybe isn't clear enough. So the bottom line is that you need an Olympus lens to use the other lenses you have bought. Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!
