Question about Xantrex Technology Xantrex LinkLITE Battery Monitor
I have connected the xantrex XBM system with 500 A/50mV current shunt according to installation guide. Neg side contains wire only going to battery side of shunt. All displays read according to Functional overview and General operations Guide. Fully charged battery bank system show 100%. I have 4 deep cycle 240 Ah batteries connected in series/parallel. F01 isset to 480 Ah. However, when I turn all DC systems on in the boat (Refrigerator, lights, electronics ) I don't get any current flow showing.
The shunt needs two (2) wires coming from it to your amp meter. If the meter reads backwards polarity, reverse the shunt leads.
