Question about ViewSonic VX910 19" LCD Monitor
When I reboot the computer my monitor comes on and then shuts right down. A box in the upper right corner says "analog" (I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem.) Sometimes if I press the buttons on the side randomly then I can get it to come on. Once it is on it stays on until I reboot again. Any ideas?
Might be the connection from your computer to your monitor. the cord may be malfunctioning. that's where the "analog" is coming from.
the video card could be bad.
or, the monitor itself could have a short.
when you mess with the buttons, it's "moving" something inside the monitor that is keeping that short from being a problem.
