Question about HP DesignJet 1050c plus InkJet Printer
System Error 0B000D 0000000D This error message is displayed on my HP Designjet 1050C Plus plotter. I've unplugged many times, nothing will print. Any suggestions?
From the service manual:
System Error: 0B000D
24 V source test failure.
Corrective Action: Replace the Electronics Module
HP Part number: C6072-60146
I just looked up the pricing and it's not cheap. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Dont' replace the electronics module! Thats a rip off. You need to check for the resistence between the transistor pins, the transistors read 3055V, the transistors that are bad will read zero resistence, they are on the main circuit board towards the left hand side near where it reads scan axis motor. There are four of them, usually 2 of them short out and then it blows the white little 10amp surface mount fuse in the top right hand corner of the board. Need to solder on new transistors and fuse. Fuse is made by littlefuse..
