More likely a frozen water line in the freezer compartment. Thaw out the freezer completely - then it should work after cooling down again.

After 2yrs of not using the icemaker, moved

Good day,
Pour water from small paper cup until it near fills the well of the ice maker. With the lever down, close freezer door and wait 2 to 3 hours. If it dumps then the ice maker should be good, if not, replace ice maker.
If dumps O.K. then the dual water valve is bad, and needs replaced.
You should check the fill tube that runs from the back of the machine to see if it is blocked with ice. (requires removing ice maker) but even so, if it is iced, you'll need to clear, but the water valve in the back rear of the machine is leaking and still needs replaced.

Thanks for using FixYa

Ice maker don't make ice

Pour about 2/3 cup of water into the ice maker . If it dumps the cubes but doesn't refill with water , replace the water inlet valve , behind refrig , where the water line connects to on the refrig .
If it does not dump the cubes , and the cubes stay in the ice maker , replace the icemaker .

I poured water into the icemaker and ice cubes are formed but will not be dumped into the empty tray of my ge profile

The icemaker is bad then . It will have to be replaced by removing 2 screws and a plug connector . Easily replaced . Make sure the icemaker is turned on though .

All water underneath.ice in the bottom.freezer working.not making

If I understand you correctly your water line that comes through the back wall of the freezer and into the icemaker is frozen. If so you have a bad water valve. When the valve goes bad it will not seal off the water. It will seep causing a slow drip where the water comes out at you icemaker. It'd slow enough to freez causing a ice blockage. This will not allow water to come through and fill your icemaker when it calls for water.

Ice maker

So you are not getting water to the ice maker? If not then fill ice maker with water. If when the water freezes and the ice maker dumps then the water control valve on the back of the refrigerator is defective. Let me know, Sea Breeze

Ge icemaker problems GSS25LSWASS

What part was installed?

Ensure that the Ice Maker arm is in the down position.

There is a thermostat that closes when the ice mold reaches a temperature that indicates that the water in the mold is frozen if this thermostat is faulty it will prevent the Ice Maker from going into the dump cycle.

Hope this helps.
