Question about Danby 17 in. DDW1802W Designer Series Built-in Dishwasher
The red light turns on when the power button is depressed, but the cycle doesn't start when the dial is in position.
I have a DDW1802W with a Stainless Steel interior (which is different from the standard model I am finding). I just purchased it, and it worked a couple times, but then wouldn't start the cycle. It would just make noise (both the clicking of the switch dial, and a moaning noise. It has a small container under the insulation on the right side towards the front (you will need to pull it our of your counter) that has a styrofoam float in it that hits a switch when it gets full (signaling a overflow). There is a small black rubber plug on the bottom side of the container. I pulled that and drained the water out of it, stuffed it back in, and it is running right now.
