Not washing and then leaking

My bosch dishwasher stopped washing, plenty of water in machine, lower waher arm not moving and I hear a ratle type of sound, removed the pump and sure enough the impeller is in to pieces, I appoxied the impella back together and the first wash cycle worked great, however the lower arm is no longer turning and the machine is leaking, set up machine to run out from under counter, can see the water level rising in tray (FYI: then leaks out on to my hardwood floor) but cannot see where the water is comming from. Purchased brand new for to much $$$ I might add, unit is now 3yr's old and now Bosch wants me to schedule tech to service machine at God only knows how much, not pleased, last bosch I'lll ever purchase. Any ideas' where it might be leaking from. Thank you !

Im not sure where you are in the world but im in Melbourne / Australia. I service Bosch household appliances. When you say the tray is filling with water do you mean the plastic bottom of the machine? If so the leak can be back through the bottom door seal. You must remove the front panel on the door and examin the door seal. it may be clogged with food scraps and general muck which stops the water flowing back into the macine. Sometimes the door seal length across the machine extends to the sides of the gully and prevents the water from returning into the machine. I usually snip the length with narrow bladed sissors so the seal stays within the gully length. My email is svicari124@msn.com. If you use messanger you may catch me there sometime. Also check the bottom spray arm for cracks or splits due to heating and cooling stress. If its not rotating it could be cracked and not building enough pressure to rotate. this will usually give you a water leak through the door of the machine because of the uncharacteristic water rotation. 0417362396 Melbourne Metro area Regards Sam
