I have a 2000 23ft comfort travel trailer, it is pluged into electrical, all lights work, but I do not get any power from outlet plugs. I checked breakers & fuses, no outlets work.

On my trailer the gfci is a seperate button in the fuse panel that shuts down the 120v outlets, all the lights run off the 12v so they continue to work, does your microwave and ac work?

New microwave stopped working after 15 seconds

Possibly the fuse / breaker is tripped, usually all outlets in one room share same breaker. Check breakers (or fuses) or try outlet in differnt room. If the outlet has power, (plugin a lamp to check) and the microwave still does not work, take it back to store for replacement or refund.

My GE spacemaker xl1400 model JVM1451BA 001 DOES NOT TURN ON, serial # HT9897895 , it wont make a noise or nothing, not lights, someone told me its a fuse, but I dont know what the fuse is called to go to...

First try plugging it in a different power outlet to eliminate a possible defective AC outlet, than if it still does not work, your friend could be correct it could be a fuse, if you have electrical skills you can verify your self. first unplug the power cable, than unscrew the cover to get to the electronic board, locate all the ceramic fuses and with a good multimeter set to (Ohms) check the continuity of all fuses if it reads 0 ohms it's good if it reads nothing than it is bad, replace that fuse with the same amperage and type than put the cover of the oven back, plug the power cable and give it a test if the fuse burns again than the problem is much worse, it could be a defective safety switch on the door frame or a defective circuit board, take it to a good repair shop...

REMEMBER TO ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CABLE BEFORE OPENING THE UNIT!!!

Hope this helps!

I had a fire in the microwave and now it doesn't turn on. Is there a reset button or do I have to go buy a new one? [email protected]

It sounds like an internal fuse has blown. Unplug unit and carefully open the top cover to provide access to the A.C. power cord entry point. Hopefully the fuse is located in that area and is the older style 1/2" long glass or ceramic body with metal endcap on each end. ONLY REPLACE WITH A FUSE THAT HAS IDENTICAL ELECTRICAL RATINGS! After replacing the fuse and top cover reconnect the unit to the A.C. outlet and check to see if it is still dead. Still dead = repair shop time.

NOTE: Use a "fused" A.C. outlet strip (usually 6 outlets with circuit breaker) for your "after fuse replaced" testing. This gives you additional protection against accidentally tripping a breaker in your homes electrical panel.

The mircowave has no power, outlet works, just mirco strop workin

HI, the popping sound that you herd was the result of a failed HV capacitor. This failure will render the unit inoperable, as you has witnessed at this time. Replacing this failed HV capacitor, will correct this issue. I would also advise to check the cut-off fuse and in-line AC fuse as well. There may be some issues concerning the integrity of these fuses as well.

Has power to unit but nothing works, ie. oven, clock, timers, etc

If you don't see any light in the display or from the light bulb inside it you probably need to replace the fuse inside the microwave, it should be by the place where the cord goes in the microwave.

NO POWER

Inside the microwave is a fuse. If you can, try plugging the microwave into a different outlet (use an extension cord). If it does not power on, you have likely blow the fuse. If you are technical, you may look into replacing the fuse yourself (you will have to remove some parts of the microwave exterior to get to the fuse). Otherwise, if no longer in warranty, you will need to have a shop or handyman replace fuse.

Microwave oven

Check the wall AC outlet by using a meter or another electrical appliance such as a table lamp. If no power there replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker.

Does your microwave light up when you open the door?

If not, it could be a bad power cord, on/off switch AC cord or fuse.

Check these first.

If you cannot solve the problem, you'll probably need service.

Hope this helped.
