Samsung yp-k3 hi i brought a samsung yp-k3 off my mate and he lost the soft ware and when i go try to chage it it comes up with HI-SPEED USB Device Plugged into non -HI-SPEED USB Hub what do i do and what software do i need to download

The problem is with the battery or the USB cable.
Check the cable first if there is any damage replace it,if there is no damage then the problem is with the battery which is not charging get it replaced and ur problem will be solved..

You just keep it plugged into the computer (in usb 2.0) until it says "Fully Charged", and then take it out and then see what happens.

checked your usb it okey maybe is loosing near to cut the wire,,or buy a new so you can sure...

This is not an error it just means that you are plugging in a usb 2.0 device into a usb 1.0 port. The devise will still function normally just not as fast. You could always add a usb 2.0 pci card to your computer.

The usb message has nothing to do with the ability of the unit to charge. It just means that the port on your computer is recognised as a USB 1.1 port.

It is more likely that the battery no longer holds a charge. The battery can be replaced but it is difficult to open up the unit without damaging the casing. There are instructions on opening up the unit on youtube. Other than buying a faulty unit with a working battery I don't know how to get hold of the batteries. Be careful when replacing the battery. If it is connected the wrong way you will fry your unit.

I couldn't get the icon for the portable device either. I solved the problem by going to the Control Panel; used Add Hardware; and followed the prompts. I used the original Samsung K3 CD. And it worked! Good luck

When the YP-K3 2 gb device is plugged into the USB Port, the system says "Found New Hardware, Samsung YP-K3" which then switches to "MTP Device" and then fails on an MTP error. It seems to be searching for a driver, and cannot find one. H E L P!!!!!
