Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook
DST is the drive test. Basically, it's telling you that your hard drive is failing and that is why it is freezing up on you because the computer can't read/write from parts of the hard drive. You will need to replace the drive.

Your computer might be infected by virus. Perform a system scan using your antivirus. If it didn't work after scanning, perform a system restore. Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Select the previous date where it worked fine. Give that a try! Good Luck!
