Question about Apple iPhone 3G Black Smartphone
I dropped my iphone 3G on the floor by accident and the screen shows nothing except a white light. the phone seems to be working fine, i could turn it off by guessing the slider and stuff.... but cannot see anything on my display what can i do????? please help. reset the phone to factory setting but before back it up on your itunes and that should work Dropped my iphone and I can hear the slider working and emails are coming through- it still syncs with my computer, I just can't see anything at all on the screen, just a whitish gray blank screen, sometimes with gray or red lines running vertical down one of the sides.
You have broken the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) the touch screen digitizer and front glass is a seperate unit so that is why it still works. The LCD is the visual part and can be purchased online and fitted yourself if you feel up to it and is not that expensive, Videos of how to do it also on youtube. Or you can take it to a mobile repair centre to get them to do it for you.
