Question about MyGuide 2350 GPS Receiver
I got a used MyGuide 2350 recently. When it tuns on, it shows a picture of road between mountains with a Navigation System logo there, then nothing else. I did not see the warning/menu stuff mentioned in the manual. It came with a SD card, but I don't know the original owner might wipe out everything there?? I thought only maps were installed on SD card, not the GPS application? Also, I turned it on with that on/off switch in the back - on top-left cornor, there is also a power button, but seems no response for that button. I do not know how to deal with it at the moment. The GPS came with all the accessory, and looks rather new, prob a returned product. Any advice would be a great help to me on this! I am afraid it is just a defected one.
Ok, there should be a small hole located on the device, you need a pencil or little pin to press a tiny button inside. Hold it down for a few seconds and the device should reset.
Also on most GPS devices the maps are installed on the device itself, not the memory card. (usually used for music, etc) If it came with any software and this problem persists, I would suggest reinstalling it.
Hope this helps ya out! :)
