Question about Dell Inspiron 7500 Notebook
What is happening is you have an application that is not unloading from your memory so windows won't shutdown. What you can do to resolve this is go to start menu, run, then type msconfig, click the startup tab and it will show you all applications that start when your PC starts. Try unchecking some applications they you will not need at startup (such as adobe, quicktime, msn) until you find which program is causing you to not be able to shutdown.
