Question about DISH Network 311 DTV Receiver
Often, when watching both live TV or recorded programs, the digital signal gets jumbled and distorted and 2-3 seconds. I can understand this in inclimate weather, but it often happens with clear skies, and on different channels, not just the same channel. What is this caused by?
This is often due to a limited line of sight issue such as foilage growing into the signal pathway. Often it occurs when the wind blows and the foilage sways into the signal path. From behind the dish look out at the angle of elevation the dish is pointed and try to identify if there are any obstructions in the area. If you are unable to determine this yourself call for a service call and they will assist you with obtaining a better line of sight. I hope that is helpful. Thanks for using Fix Ya.
