Unable to open the battery compartment on my GE Mac1200 ECG

Is there a trick to access the battery. I have a replacement battery, but the plastic slide starts to open up a bit but does not slide free to access the battery.
Thanks for any help.

The little tab at the right side needs to be pried up with a screw driver so that is can slide freely.

The battery on my ECG is not working. Can I use the ECG?

Hi,
Its recommended that you should take the ECG on battery backup. Because if you use power line while taking the ECG there is a possibility of interference on the base line. Try to replace the battery before taking ECGs.

Booting problem, my ecg machine will start booting and then switches off itself. thanks

hi,
You have to replace the battrey of the ECG machine. Even if you are connected the power the machine works on battery. The mines power is used only for charging the battrey. If the battery is faulty then then machine will power off by it self. Its a 12v 1.2Ah battery. For replacing the you have to open the machine. You can't access the battery externally.
You can find the battery in the following link.

Need replacement parts - plastic clips that attach to leads.

They usually sell these by the pack but we have a lot in stock and I can separate them for you. I just need to know what style you have so that I can provide the right one. Send a pic if you can and I will help you with this issue.

The print for the reading is dark and the lines are all over the place. Mac1200 Thanks, Draya

If the ecg waveforms are all over the place you are probally recieving electrical interferance. If that happens when nobody is connected try adjusting the filters and see if it makes a diffrence. If it does not make a diffrence it might be the patient cable or leads.

The battery is weak. Disconnect the AC, battery,& then replace the memory battery. Reconnect the power battery & AC. Next is a pain in the rear, reprogram the unit; date, ID, setup, ect.
