Question about Gateway M305CRV Notebook
In the device manager it shows i have intel (R) VE network connection adapters location PCI bus 2,device, funtion 0 Status working properly.
so how should I set up wireless connection to my at&t service, 2wire gateway wireless network.
are the modem and router seprate devices or is this brand all in one?I was not informed of that upon aquiring the service products. Thanks
You need an external WIRELESS ROUTER or MODEM ( provided by AT&T ). After this AT&T router configuration you needs to do configuration at your laptop using CONNECTION SETUP wizard for Wireless Networks & Devices.
Then you can set IP addresses & then you will be connected to it. I hope above steps will help you.

You can buy just 1 device nowadays a wireless modem router, this will connect directly to the cable or telephone socket and give wireless access almost straight away.
