Question about Goodman GMS80903BNA Heater

1 Answer

Goodman gmn100-4 I replaced the condensate pump attached to my Goodman GMN100-4. Now, when I try to restart the furnace, it makes a humming noise for a few minutes, then stops, but there's no flame. I've repeated this process (following the instructions on the door of the unit) half a dozen times with the same result. Any suggestions before I call my maintenance company?

Why would my Goodman LP furnace CAPF1824B6CA hum, but not kick on?

most furnaces no longer have a pilot, they are all electronic ignition. first thing to come is the inducer motor. if that is what is humming, then either the run capacitor is shot, or theres an issue with the motor itself

Why would my goodman gas furnace leak water from the panel that the blower motor is attached to?

the only reason water would come out of your furnace is if you also have your AC in the same system, and the condensation line is not allowing the water to drain properly.

If the water only happens during cooling, clear the condensation line. If it is happening during a heating cycle you may have an improperly connected thermostat, a bad control board, etc...

New goodman 80% gas furnace leaking condesation down exhaust vent

it could be condensation. or poor seal at roof. probably the seal at roof. also check the larger copper line is it sealed good? if any spot is not this will cause leaking when in cooling mode. maybe dripping from line onto vent.

Hi i have an goodman capf036a2a furnace and when i cut on the heat the burner light but the blower motor doesnt turn its makes a humming noise and the code it reads is #33 roller blowout. do i need to...

Since the motor is humming we know it is recieving voltage, try spinning the blower wheel by hand and see if the motor starts up, if it does the capacitor needs to be replaced, if not the blower motor needs to be replaced.

I have a goodman electric furnace. Model no AR32-1, where can I get a manual. My furnace is making a grinding/squeak noise. Is it okay to run it until it's fixed?

I'm not sure you have a true Electric Furnace or a Heat Pump, since both are electric.

In any event, Goodman has Owners manuals that you can download in a pdf format. Just look for your model #.

Water leaking out bottom of Goodman propanefurnace drain tubes are clear. draining out under the actual furnace

Check the top of the gas flue. Make sure the cap is on it. If not it will allow rain to get inside. If this is only a furnace, this is the only thing it could be. Nothing produces water in a furnace. If it has an A/C coil attached. The condensation drain might be stopped up allowing it to leak.
