Under the hood, between the LED rasterizers (four of them, one for each of CMY & K), there are rockers with a small but powerful magnet. When the lid is closed, the magnet will touch the top of the toner cartridge, which in turn, has a magnet on a rod that goes up and down with the rollers when the toner is churned in the cartridge. If the toner magnet is not in the position it is supposed to be (you can check it's position with a hand held magnet), the sensor will falsely interpret that no cartridge is present. You may need to replace the toner cartridge.

Or if you have more time than money, empty the toner cartridge into a clean vessel, disassemble the cartridge, fix the magnet-on-a-wire assembly, reassemble the cartridge, and replace the toner from the holding vessel. It is possible that the magnets are getting weak, so check them, both on the rocker and on the cartridge.

On the other hand, I've noticed the rocker switches get sticky in lower temperatures (I keep my 2135 in the garage). Maybe a shot of WD40 on the rocker would help, but to do that, you'll need to remove the lid. It's not too hard, there's only about 9 screws, after removing the back panel (another 4 or 5 screws), After a few more screws around the toner sensor panel (a PCB), you disconnect some quick-disconnect switches, and then you can see the rockers (the actual switches are opto-electrical components on the PCB, you might clean them with alcohol, but they are discrete packages that can't be repaired).

This is a major flaw in the Xerox 2135 (probably persists in the 7300 series as well) and the OKI 9200/9300 series upon which the 2135 is based. There's way too much that can go wrong, but the killer is that nothing except the sensor is failing. Very frustrating!

Chekc out my tutorial on YouTube. Search for Xerox 7300, or Toner Sensor Flag replacement. The Flags in the top cover are likely causing this issue. They "bounce" too much and the printer cannot handle this "bouncing" and shoots out an error. It is either tha Toner Sensor Flags, The Toner Sensor Board, the Engine Controller Board, or the Top cover itself.

Replace the parts in the order I have listed.

Also it could just be a Magenta Toner Cartridge is bad, because the magnet inside the window on the top of the cartridge may have gotten weak over time, and isn't allowing it to actuate the flag in the top cover.

VERY COMMON ISSUE. usually easily fixable

In the magenta image unit Vg and Vdc is very high. I change imaging unit-hv1-hv2 but problem did not solved

If Vg and Vdc are very high and you have confirmed that all contacts with the magenta image unit inside the device are clean and making solid contact with the imaging unit, you may have to replace the High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS) as it is passing too much current to the unit.

Malfunction C2553

Open close front door to reset. But your Magenta Image unit is having issues remove and shake the unit side ways to spread developer and toner whole length of the unit. Worse case get a new magenta image unit.. Also clean the sensor below the image unit when pulled out all the way near the front of the copier each color has one except black.

Magenta cart. wont print

The problem is most likely a bad Image Unit.

Xerox guarantees their supplies to be free from defects as long as their is a life percentage left and will replace it for free.
Take it back to the store you purchased it from and ask for a replacement, or have them request a replacement for you.

If the magenta fails (within 100 pages) after you replace the Image Unit, then your toner dispense mechanism is failing for the magenta toner, and either a dispense motor will need replaced, or the toner auger will need to be unclogged or replaced.

It is leaving heavy blue streaks on everything printed

Hey, blue streaks could be a few different things. The first thing I would check is the image unit. Try swapping out the cyan(blue) image unit with another color, such as magenta. If the streaks change from cyan(blue) to magenta in color then you know the image unit is bad and must be replaced (part # 108R00581). If it is not the image unit then it most likely is the developer. The developer takes about 40 minutes to install and really should be done by a service technician.
Here is a video that shows you how to remove the image unit and where you can purchase one.. Just go to 57 seconds in the video. Hope this helps, good luck!

sounds like the wrong image unit. Oce and ollivetti have the same machine and take the same image unit but with a different chip. Make sure it is a genuine konica minolta image unit. If need be try putting the chip from the old unit on the new one and see if lays down the colour
