Question about Canon PowerShot A530 Digital Camera
When I have it connected to the computer and am trying to transfer pictures. It stays on for a second and then a green light flashes and it goes off. This doesn't happen when I am just viewing pictures on the camera when it is not connected to the computer. thank you
If you're not currently using rechargeable NiMH batteries, recommend trying them to see if that corrects the problem. But either way, also recommend reading the following blog article, as it describes the use of a card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. I own many cameras and I never connect any of them directly to my computer to download photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue:
