Reset to factory defaults kyocera 1018 - Kyocera FS-1030DN Printers

Pattern code can't be read without having a Mobile flashing module.
you just have to reset the mobile to factory defaults from recovery menu.

you can open the command center of the printer, login using the password admin00. Then go to tab "Basic", click Reset and choose the last one, which says Reset Entire Device To Factory Defaults.
If you just want to reset the frpo parameters to factory defaults, then use the command !R! FRPO INIT; EXIT;

to reset to factory default I believe its u002 in service mode to enter service from copy screen or possibly the job status screen cant remember hit 10871087

go into service mode and print out the maintenance sheet and look for the ucode for factory reset

log into the web page log in as an admin you can switch it in there the defaults are usally Admin Admin or admin00 if you can log in as an admin you may have to do a factory reset

printer is working but scanner is not working

you might out of luck because they company wont give out the procedure or they might charge you $50.00 for procedure. Below is the what I found on the web for different model but the procedure is the same (the printer server card is different either 1x or 2x, but you only have one for each printer)

Turn off, unplug.

2) Remove the IB-2X card. Mine is secured with two thumb screws. Just give it a tug and it comes out.

3) Locate the jumper. Remove it, rotate 90%, and install on SW2.

4) Reinstall IB-2X.

5) Plug in and power up, wait for READY.

6) Turn off, unplug.

7) Remove the IB-2X card.

8) Remove jumper, rotate 90%, and reinstall in previous position.

9) Reinstall IB-2X.

10) Unplug the network cable.

11) Plug in and power up, wait for READY.

12) Admin password is now blank. TCP/IP settings: DHCP is on, subnet mask is 000.000.000.000, default gateway is 000.000.000.000, IP address is 000.000.000.000. Change settings to desired.

13) Reconnect network cable.
They also have something call ResetLan tool, but it costs you.

You probably have a network card called a IB-30 installed. You will need to reset this card by changing the jumper from is original position to the next one. This will restore the original factory settings, there are only one jumper on the card. If you still have the CD your IB-30 came with it will explain to you under troubleshooting how to restore the factory defaults.
