try taking the prongs that the battery touches and lightly bending them out a bit for a better connection. also make sure the prongs are not corroded. If they are, you can clean with cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.
Remove the back of the phone. Pop out the battery. let it sit for about 10 minutes. Replace the Battery & the back cover of the phone. If the phone starts up, then let it start and immediately plug in the charger and let it charge for 1/2 hour before you touch it again. If the phone does not start up then do not try to start it just immediately plug in the charger and let it charge for 1/2 hour before you touch it again.
You probably have the speaker membrane broken. Just plug a headphone and test to see if the rest of the device is working correctly.
