I have the same TV. On the back of the TV there is a square panel. Unscrew the six screws (the panel is on the opposite side of the inputs, I used needle nose plyers) after you take the panel off (make sure the tv is unplugged) you will see a black "housing" with two stainless steel screws. Unsrew those two screws and pull out the housing. there will be 4 screws to take off (uses a special tool called a T-8 TROX screwdriver and replace bulb. BE CAREFUL for this TV there is 2 different bulbs. If your serial number ends in a J you need a different bulb then if it ends in a Z (serial number is on the back of the tv in the middle) I recommend shopping www.nextdaydlp.com as they clearly label there bulbs, plus they are cheap!

My 46" Samsung DLP Rear

It's possible that the DLP chip is going bad. I'm not sure how much it would cost to repair it. If you have the part number you can search for it on ebay and probably find it cheap. I couldn't tell you how much it would cost to have someone repair it, or how to do it. I do know that diagnostics typically cost around 100.

I have an RCA M50WH72syx12, 50" DLP.

Yeah could be expensive if it isn't the lamp.
Mind you could be a little easier, might just be a fuse on the video relay. If you are confident in being able to open it up, check the relay that runs from the video input to the power capacitors and there should be a small fuse along that circuit.
If the fuse has a broken capsule then you may just be in luck. Failing finding a broken fuse, then I would agree with you on the bulb. But check the blub for any markings or cracks because they usually only make noise when the vacuum fails.
Hope this helps and good luck mate! :D

I have an HL- t50756 and it turns off every 10 minutes

Try to reset the lamp timer. To do this get the remote first shut off the TV. Then on the TV remote (not cable remote ect) press MUTE
then punch in the numbers 182 then POWER in that order, wait when the TV starts up the Factory meneu will appear go to Options press, then look for Lamp Hrs. to see how many hours you have on your lamp TV lamps last appox 2 years average use. 4,000 hrs. Try this, above where you see the hours go to reset or something like that and press to reset blub timer to zero. Your blub might still be ok, but the timer says times up and tries to shut off the TV thinking the blub is bad. By reseting the blub timer to zero the TV will think it's a new lamp. Until it really goes then no picture at all or gets very dark. Try this trick it might solve your problem.

Good Luck!

How to change out blub

panel on the back of tv, opposite side of inputs. 6 screws takes a special screwdriver. I used needle nose plyers. once in the back, unscrew 2 stainless steel screws to take out black housing. www.nextdaydlp.com has your bulb. make sure you have the serial number off the back of your TV at the end of your serial number you will find either a Z or J. DONT GET THE WRONG BULB! taking the bulb out of the housing is different. you can either take a drill with a small bit to get the nuts out, or purchase the screwdriver called a T-8 TROX screwdriver.
