Question about Akai PT46DL10 46" HDTV-Ready Television
I need to know how to replace the blub for a Akai DLP TV
Panel on the back of tv, opposite side of inputs. 6 screws takes a special screwdriver. I used needle nose plyers. once in the back, unscrew 2 stainless steel screws to take out black housing. www.nextdaydlp.com has your bulb. make sure you have the serial number off the back of your TV at the end of your serial number you will find either a Z or J. DONT GET THE WRONG BULB! taking the bulb out of the housing is different. you can either take a drill with a small bit to get the nuts out, or purchase the screwdriver called a T-8 TROX screwdriver.
