No picture ...

My 60" Sony Wega KF-WS60S1 when turned on begins with 5 green flashes then 6 red flashes, 3 second pause intermissions repeating the 6 red flashes continuing in that cycle with no picture. The lamp is fine and install correctly. Fan too is not working suggesting that maybe a fuse has blown somewhere breaking the circuit to the rest of the working components. Can someone enlighten me please of what might be the problem :) Please

The usual problem is that the lamp needs to be replaced. However, there is no guaranty that lamp replacement will correct the problem.

standby 4 time flashes shows error of Fan that is not running in TV.
Your TV has 4 fans and any one is not running due to some reason. Check fans are not caught wires or some thing that causing problem.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, [Exclude the model number] in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Sony LCD Model KF-60WE610 lamp was replaced and then it shortly after stopped turning on. Blinks Green 6 times then Red 6 times Please help!

For Sony Model KF-60WE610, KF-50WE610, and KF-42WE610, the Diagnostic Code of power light indicator flashing 6 times green, then flashing 6 times red (6 red etc), means you need to replace part number A-1302-272A G1 BOARD, COMPLETE. See Sony Service Manual, 4. Chasis-1 at part Ref no. 103. The Power Board sits vertically in two slots on the left side of the electronics board. 4 wire connectors to remove when replacing. This component fits all 3 KF models listed above.

Dead sony

The $1200 was for the lcd engine not the lamp. You should change the lamp. The buzz is the power supply trying to light the lamp.
