My Fujitu Lifebook c1020 display is bad and needs swapping. I need a repair maual.

Its pretty simple to change the screen on this computer, and you dont really need a service manual (i dont even think you will find one for that)

the way you do it is remove the rubber "dots" around the screen, there should be atleast 4.

when they are out, and you have removed the hidden screws, you can take of the frontbezel around the screen.

when the bezel is off you might need to loosen or remove 1 of the 2 screwes on each side at the bottom hinge.

the screen itself is fastened to the hinge with 2-4 screws on each side of the screen. remove them, take out the flat/wide cable on the backside, and disconnect it from the 5-6cm long printbord.

reverse the process when you put in the new screeen.
