Circuit board fuse keeps poping

I am working on a Goodman GMT 070-3 multiposition furnace with central A/C I can run the fan on on , run the heat cycle But everytime I put it to A/C the circuit board fuse pops. Contactor coil on the condensing unit is good. could this board be bad? Is there a way to test the board?

I'd bet it's in the 24VAC wiring between the furnace and the condenser or in the condenser.

Traced wires and found the wires to the humidifer were the cuprits. I beleive the solenoid may be no good. After disconnecting the wires to the humidifier, A/C and Heat are working fine now .

Pull the thermostat off the wall. If the fan keeps running, it is a relay in the board or just an independent fan relay.

Goodman a/c @ heating unit. Model #gmh80703anca when I turn the unit on it keeps blowing the fuse on the circuit panel. What could be causing this?

Several questions:
1. What fuse? 110V at the furnace? Breaker at the house? Fuse on the controller board?
2. Does the ignitor work? Do you get gas ignition?
3. Does the exhaust fan come on?
4. Does the main blower come on?

The unit has power, but the unit will not run, the fan will not start when set to fan at thermostat

Check inside the furnace for a circuit board. The board may have a small 3 or 5 amp fuse. Check to see if it is blown. The circuit board may have a blinking light to diagnose the problem. The diagnosis scheme should be right on the furnace front panel.

Heater keeps going off on its on also fan not

Please provide more info. When it goes off does it come back on by itself or do you have to flip a breaker? Is the furnace gas or electric? If it is not moving enough air across your heat exchanger in a gas furnace or across electric heating elements this will trip a safety switch that will stop heating but not fan. Low air speed is most likely from inexperienced or improper duct design/ installation. Duct sizing is very important to move enough air. Don't believe me try breathing thru a straw. If your unit is a gas furnace it has a flashing code that will tell you what is wrong codes listed inside unit door. Could be lots of things. Reply with more info.

My goodman gas furnace is not kicking on. the light on the unit is saying that it should be working but it is not. there is no pilot light, the fan is working the heat is not

If you are not getting any codes from the board, then the furnace is not getting a call for heat from the thermostat. A wire may have come off, the thermostat not properly wired, or a break in the stat wire. On a call for heat, you should have 24vac between W and C on the circuit board. This will let you know if you are getting a call for heat all the way back to the furnace.

Goodman furnace

double check your wiring. R terminal on the furnace will provide 24 volts to the t-stat. W terminal in the t-stat will send 24 volts back to the furnace W terminal to turn on the heat. G terminal in the t-stat will send power to the G terminal in the furnace when the t-stat is switched to fan on. Y terminal in the t-stat will send power to the Y terminal in the furnace which in turn will send 24 volts to the A/C outside. The C terminal in the furnace should be connected to the c terminal in the A/C outside as well as to the T-stat. Check the fuse again
