Modded ps1s are illegal in the first place, secondly you probably got ripped off, that's why you can't play them.
But try taking it to a shop or blowing dust out of every hole you can find.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Memory disk not inserted cant play psp

Please click the link below to be taken to the official Playstation PSP / PSPGo memory stick center. It will show you where the memory card goes on their devices.
PSP / PSPGO Memory Stick Center

Once you find out where the memory stick is on your son's system, I would take it out and reinsert it several times. This has happened to me before and I had to remove/reinsert a few times for it to "find the right position". As a last resort, I would format the memory card and see if that helps. The steps to format on on that link as well. Worst case scenario is the memory stick has gone bad, but you can pick up a replacement for under $10.00 US. Hope this helps.

I cannot get my PSP to show images under the photo icon. The instructions do not make it clear how to set up the memory stick duo. Can you give the step by step proceedure, please?

As far as I remember you do not need to setup the photos on the memory stick, but I'll explain how to do it.
Step 1. You can either use the USB cable or get a memory stick adaptor for this.Connect whichever you chose to the computer.
Step 2. It should bring up a menu(if it doesn't bring up the menu go to computer and look at the devices with removable storage your memory card should be there double click on it go to step 3 if you had to do this)click on open folder to view files.
Step 3. There are other choices you see but ignore them and click on PICTURES you are basically there if it still doesn't work then it might be in the wrong format.

Im tryin 2 hook up my ps3 to this netgear router isnt connecting

Playing Online Games Behind The Router

A router uses a combination of hardware and software to prevent unauthorized users or internet traffic from accessing your private local area network (LAN). If your game console, such as Playstation is behind the router, you will need to configure routers Port Forwarding feature in order to play online games.

Note: You will need to get the ports and service type for your games. This is usually available from the games website.

Steps how to configure router to play online games:
  1. Open a browser and type in the following URL: http://www.routerlogin.com or http://192.168.1.1 (depending on the model number of the router)
  2. Type the Username as admin and the Password as password and click OK.
  3. Click on Port Forwarding under Advanced menu.
  4. Then click on Add Custom Service
5. Under Service Name, type the name of the game.
  • Select the Service Type from the drop down menu (depending on the game).
  • Type the Starting Port and Ending Port numbers (depending on the game).
  • Type the IP address of your PlayStation in the Server IP Address box and click Apply.
  • Click on WAN Setup under ADVANCED menu.
    • Check the Disable SPI firewall box
    • Change MTU size from 1500 (which is the default) to 1300 and click Apply.
Now the Playstation is ready to use.

    I hope this helps...

    Hello

are you using an official firmware or custom firmware?umd or memory stick?normally,if you're using official firmware and umd and given your issue, there might be something amiss with the psp console.if you're using on the other hand a custom firmware and memory stick, make sure that the configuration under the recovery menu (turn on psp while clicking the R button) is set to memory stick.or still, try playing the game on another psp console and see if you will encounter the same problem.if yes,try reinstalling the game on the memory stick,it might have been corrupted, and see if it will work.use caution,no guarantees.hope this helps.

My psp could not read the game folder on the memory stick

Your psp must be custom firmwared for you to be able to play games from the ISO folder, to custom firmware it, it must have a pandora battery and the files required. You can buy pandoras batterys and a magic memory stick off ebay for a reasonable price.  Hope this helps
