Question about Whirlpool GD2SHGX Refrigerator
My refrigerator keeps everything cold, but it sounds like an owl or small animal making a ''whooooing'' noise. It used to do it only once in a while, now almost continuously.
The noise is caused by the bearings in the fan motor going bad. If not replaced soon, it will quit working, and could cause considerable damage to the compressor. Have a technician look at it.
