On any blank area of your desktop:
1. Right-click and select "Properties" inthe drop-down menu that appears.
2. Click on the [Desktop] tab (not the [Screen saver] tab)...
3. Click on the [Browse] button and find the picture you want to use
4. Click on the picture and see the preview.

Older monitors(CRT type) are using complex circuit than LCD, It requires more power consumption than LCD, but you can still save power by 30% through this tip. 1.You must position or install your monitor in a dark area or position. 2.Adjust the brightness control to the level of the black part of the picture must be seen black not gray, or became white. 3. Adjust the contrast control at your most comfortable level. 4.Avoid using bright picture screen saver or blank screen saver. 5.Turn off your monitor manually if necessary.
go to galleries ,select graphics & then screen saver .from here u will get screen saver provided by & if u want ur file as screen saver ,go to that picture open it , open options->use image->set as screen saver
i) whenever u keep ur system idle for few minutes or longer time ur system goes in screen saver mode, in order to know more about it......
Screen Saver Mode: when u keep ur system idle for few minutes(say more 10 min or any or u might u kept system idle while you some work to doo...) in such a case u will have graphical picture of a blue screen evolved on your screen, you can even changethe picture or screen saver and keep your own.....
right click on desktop(close all the windows) and select the button Screen Saver and configure to apply your own screen saver(try to explore and learn about it....
Well, first thing would be to turn off screen saver. Right click on the screen anywhere, go to properties, screensaver, from the pull down check none, apply and close. May need to reboot.
then let's see if it's a screensaver problem.
