Question about Compaq Presario CQ60-220US PC Laptop

Won't turn on...

When I press and hold the power button, as if to turn it on, the power lights on the lower left corner blink 3 times. What does this mean? And how can I fix my laptop?

    i've tried.. i've plugged it in to the wall and tried to turn it on... same thing.

Its a battery indicator and charging indicators. it blinks when the battery low. recharge ,your battery with your charger.

Hello i lost the remote control booklet and i need the code for an rca tv. i have the gray 4.00 remote control ge/ jc022 the number on the inside is rc24914-d 3852


Use the Built in Code Search and never look for a code again!!!
  • 1 Turn on the device (e.g. TV, VCR or DVD) for which you wish to program.
  • 2 Press and hold the "Setup" button in the middle of the remote, under the "On/Off" button. Hold the button until the indicator light on the top left corner of the remote lights, then release the button.
  • 3 Press and release the button with the label of the device you wish to program. The indicator light will blink before remaining lit.
  • 4 Point the remote towards the device. Press and release the "On/Off" button every two seconds until your device turns off. (You may need to press the "On/Off" button up to 250 times before the correct code is found.)
  • 5 Press the "Enter" button on the lower right side of the remote control when your device turns off. The indicator light will subsequently turn off.

    Setting Digital Time
    1. The digital timepiece on a watch is set using the function buttons on the outer part of the watch face. To set the digital time, press and hold the upper left button until the seconds starts blinking. Press the lower right button to reset the seconds to "00."

      Push the lower left button to move to the Daylight Savings Time portion of the watch. Use the lower right button to toggle between "On" and "OFF."

      Press the lower left button twice. The hours unit will start blinking. To advance the hour, press the lower right button repeatedly until the correct hour is displayed. If you need to move the hours unit backwards, press the middle right button until the correct hour is displayed. When the hour is set, press the lower left button to switch to minutes, and use the same commands to change the minutes unit.

      After the time is set, press the upper left button to exit the digital time setting function.
    2. Setting Analog Time
    3. You may find after setting the digital timepiece that the analog display does not match. When this occurs, you need to set the analog time. To set the analog time, press the lower left button 6 times. Next, press and hold the upper left button until the digital time starts to blink. This indicates that you are in analog time setting mode.

      Analog time adjustment is completed using the lower right button. Every time you press the button, the analog time will advance 20 seconds. If you need to make a big change to the analog time, press and hold the lower right button to make the hands move faster. Once the analog time is set, press the upper left button to exit the analog time setting mode.

As with the hours unit, pressing the lower right button will advance the minutes and holding it down will advance the minutes rapidly.

      Once the time is set, press the upper left button to save the setting.

    3. The backlight on a G-Shock watch has a manual control and an automatic function that will light the face of the watch whenever the alarm, countdown alarm or hourly alarm ring. To use the manual backlight, press the button on the bottom of timepiece. The light will glow for approximately 2 seconds before going out.

      The automatic function is set by pressing and holding the lower right button. When the automatic function is set, an indicator icon will display on the watch face above the seconds unit. You can turn off the automatic backlight function by pressing and holding the lower right button until the icon disappears.

      Note that backlight causes a drain on the battery, and overuse of the backlight will greatly reduce battery life.

    5. The G-Shock has an alarm that emits an audible tone for approximately 20 seconds when it turns on. To set the alarm, press the lower left button until "AL" displays in the upper left corner of the timepiece. Press and hold the upper left button until the hours unit starts to blink. Adjust the hour by pressing the lower right button. As when setting the time, you can advance the hour at a higher rate of speed by holding down the lower right button.

    I turn on the T.V. and the blue light is blinking and the T.V. doesn't turn on


    1. simultaneoulsy press and hold [menu] and [vol-] on TV side panel
    2. press and release [power] on TV side panel
    3. count to 5 and release[menu] and [vol-]
    4. TV should have turned on
    5. if not, unplug TV and press[power]
    6. repeat from step 1 if the TV does not power on the 2nd time

    1. Turn the radio off by pressing and holding the SRC button (under the label OFF).
    2. Press and hold the Audio button in the upper right corner of the radio. After holding the button for about 3 seconds, the clock will begin to blink (the hours).
    3. Use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the time hours or minutes. Use the left and right buttons to toggle between setting the hours and/or minutes.
    4. When done, push and hold the Audio button again fir about 3 seconds until the clock stops blinking (hours or minutes).

    Setting the date and time on watch


    time:
    hold left button -- hour will appear and begin flashing.
    press right button to set.
    press left button to advance to minutes, press right to set.

    date:
    press left -- date will appear. now hold left until day flashes.
    press right to set.
    press left to advance to month, right to set. then same again for year.
