Unable to communicate with pc - Datacard SP55 Plus Printer

The ArcSoft PhotoImaging suite is just to process and scan images, but the printer hardware itself needs hardware drivers, which contain coded instructions to communicate with your CPU.
This is the HP scanning software.
Printer/Scanner hardware should have a driver setup disk that came with it.
If you have this disk:
shut down PC
unplug printer
boot PC
uninstall the current version, if in start>control panel>programs
restart PC
install driver from disk or downloaded driver file for your model.

Kermit is a protocol designed to allow two computers to communicate with each other.

The HP 50g is not compatible with Microsoft Word. You can write programs on the 50g, transfer them to the computer, and transfer them back, but you cannot edit them in Word.

There are other PC program that will let you write and edit 50g programs. There are also many communication programs. Take a look here.

You may want to consider getting an SD card (and if necessary, a card reader for your computer). It's a lot easier and faster to transfer data and programs using the SD card than the wired connection.

the problem is connecting yahoo thru nimbuzz not with YM.. logging in YM is working very fine. but not thru nimbuzz. does anyone have a solution for this ?

You have to change it on both side!
If you are communicating your PC with a serial device, BOTH must have the same speed (serial device: 4800, pc: 4800)
Have you done it?

Most devices DEFAULT settings are 9600 baud rate, N, stopbit1.
But you can change it depending on the device...

What operating system are you using? In print properties BIdi should under the ports tab in properties
