Problem for Umax Astra 1220U Flatbed Scanner
I get a complete black screen
my print preview is black and so is the print. Each time I try to scan a picture this happens

- Thank you shamoo for the light tube suggestion you put me on the right track and now both the scanner and the printer are working perfect. I could see the little tube light was coming on and seemed to be normal. checking it with a volt meter revealed my power supply was bad resulting with not enough power to light the tube up enough to read what was on the scanner bed. Luckly I had another power suppy thatt was the same. I plan on putting this site at the top of my list to go for help and support. VernPopular Solutions for Umax Astra 1220U Flatbed
