Question about Casio W752V3AV men's watch
I have an older Alti-Thermo Casio watch I cannot figure out re: resetting and how to operate (no instructions). This is a problem already logged onto this FixYa website but I cannot see how I can read any of the 5 solutions (they are listed in order of value, but no links exist nor any text showing solutions). So I have to start all over again. Any help? (by the way, the Casio website has no archived manual for this watch).
I was just gifted an old casio pathfinder model 1675 with the manual.
when inserting a new battery.....step #4
AC (AC CLEAR) touch the AC contact and the battery +(positive) side with metal tweezers for about two seconds.
Contacting the AC (all clear)is necessary when a new battery is installed to clear the previous memory to avoid erratic display..
I am going to get a new battery for it soon I want to play with it....and figure out how navigate through the functions.
oh yah......the pictures are extremly small but the AC contact point is apparently marked? inside the case obviously next to the battery close enough for the needle nose tweezers to reach each contact. I havent unscrewed my case yet, I want to have everything I need at hand like the battery before I dive into this thing. I dont mean to dumb it down, I was trying to keep it simple as the manual is 55 pages and a little confusing. I hope this helps the battery problem. I will try to delve into the reset problem from the other post..each function appears to have a reset option ......maybe crack the case open and try the new battery all clear thing with tweezers...maybe this would reboot so to speak the entire watch , being mine does not work and have only had it in hand for two hours I am pretty clueless, I was looking for how much the watch costs...i didnt relize it was a fairly old model, the new ones with the compass look very cool. anyhow goodluck
