Unable to install the RCA EASYRIP INSTALLER nothings working right.

Hi, Just connect a new RCA PLASH MP3 PLAYER to my computer and it did recognize it. When I clicked on the install I got the following message: RCA EASYRIP INSTALLER: YOU UST HAVE A SUPPORTED RCA DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYER CONNECTED TO COMPLETE THE RECA EASYRIP INSTALLATION. NOTE: YOUR PLAYER MUST BE IN MSC MODE DURING EASYRIP INSTALLATION. I click on OK and it does not do anything else. The device is on and it show usb connected in the window. Could it be that it's charging and I can't do anything at this point? Thanks for your help. Last night I was listening to my mp3 player and I deleted a few voice memos off of it, it said IU error then turned off, I went to turn it back on and there where two songs on it, nothing more. so i go to plug it in and the little bar at the side of the screen said "plug in your mp3 player to use this" or whatever. I removed the software and now when I plug it in it doesn't detect it and when i click "removable hardware E:" it says something like "there is an error and the file is corrupted." then I change it to MTP format and it lets me download the RCA detector but not the easyrip. so i change it back and it wont let me do anything..please help?

SOURCE: Won't install easyRip software

I know that sometimes certain USB ports don't give the information that the installer is looking for. Try a different USB port on the PC and see if that works. Make sure you have the latest version of easyRip from:

http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2253

(AND do make sure the device is in MSC mode, that is the default out of the box, but couldn't hurt to double-check)

I just bought a RCA M4304 and when plugginh it into hte computer for the first time it shows nothing. No initializing

Sounds like there is an issue with the firmware. Download the firmware install from here: http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2558

Follow the on-screen instructions to perform the install.

If your computer does not recognize it, press and hold the play button while connecting the device for upwards of 30 seconds. If that does not work then it is likely the player is unrecoverable.
