What happens when you turn the TV on? Is there a clicking noise or popping sound?

Look for bad caps (leaking/bulging top) in the power supply module. Make sure to replace them with good quality caps such as PANASONIC FM/FC series.

You more likely to need to backlight inverter boards, thpower supply should have 24vdc for the backlight inverter board, the 24vdc power supply get the trun on command from the controller board, that is what should have been checked first. So look for 24v or measure it directly on the inverter board connector pin. you have bad conections on your lvfs cable have it cleaned by a tech

could be just a few bad capacitors on the power supply, if you want you can do a visual of the power board caps will appear swollen on top and are easy to solder in cost about $1 each
value is 1000mf at 16volts usually replace four of them

check if the back lamps are still on when you lose image, all you have to do is get close to the screen and make is totally black and if is not that means you have a back light working, but if the back light is gone you may have a defective panel.

talked to samsung TA about the same problem I had and the recommend to replace the power supply first to confirm a defective panel because a panel is quite expensive

If you use RF cable, need to change brand new cable.
But, before that need chck the status of cable connector.
