I have a Mitsubishi VS683R Rear Projection which appears to have a scrambled picture or sync problem. I have heard in the past that these sets had problems with PIP modules, However this set does not have a seperate PIP PCB. There is a very large board with a tuner, some audio circuits and IF circuits. Also on the tuner board is what appears to be a PIP circuit (not a module). There is no sync controls inside on the deflection board. Is this a bad tuner is that a PIP circuit on that large PCB with the tuner?
-   the picture in the PIP is scrambled but the main picture is working fine-   bdunc324

Our 42" Toshiba LCD shuts off totally randomly. The power light blinks amber and then sometimes shuts off or turns green and comes back on. Our TV is two years old but didn't start doing this until the past few months. Sometimes it will run for hours with no problems. Other times it's impossible to watch because it pops on and off so often. We have powered it off and held the power button to reset the TV per the manual. It seems to be only a tempoary fix. Any ideas without calling a technician?
