Hi there this issue is caused by your driver defaulting to letter and a4 paper being used set your default paper size to a4 in the driver and also set tray to a4 this should cure the problem Regards AL "alstech"

Hello,
Most people use "Letter" as that is the most common size used in the USA. You currently have what is called a paper size mis-match. This printer is not able to sense the actual size of the paper so the printer must be told via it's settings that it has the letter size paper loaded. The computer is already set to letter so as soon as you change the printer's setting it should start printing again! Worst case scenario is you have to cancel the print job on the pc then reboot the printer after changing the settings.
Good Luck!

Code PC Load A4

This means that the printer is expecting A4 paper rather than letter size or whatever you are trying to use. Check your "Printer Options" on your computer and make sure that the appropriate paper size is selected. A4 is an international standard paper size that is 210 mm (8.27 inches) x 297 mm (11.7 inches) and therefore is just a bit narrower and longer than the American "letter" paper size.

To correct this, cancel the print job currently in the printer's memory, change the computer to the proper paper size, and send the print job again.

We are having trouble printing on A4 paper. It keeps saying load paper. What are we doing wrong?

that come across as a very silly question! - what printer, pick one out of a thousand...

It may be that your PC is sending the wrong size to the ptr. Outlook typically sends "Letter" size and the printer may expect A4 and you gotta override (in HP ptrs. ) by pressing the GO button...

WHAT DOES LOAD CASSETTE PAPER CODE A4 ERROR ON A CANON MF3240 . WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? THANK YOU

I talked to tech support at Canon, and he explained that the document I was trying to print was originally scanned with an A4 paper size, and my printed is set to Letter paper size, thus producing the error code. A simple solution is to "uncheck" the box that says "choose paper source by PDF page size". It worked!!

When you try to print from a networked computer the display goes from saying ready to print to load Tray 1 A4. The tray is full of paper

When you loaded the paper in the tray, did you tell it that the paper was A4 - it may be that on the printer or in the queue definition on the computer that the paper size for that tray is set to something else (eg letter) and the print you are sending is A4 so it is looking for paper but only thinks it has other sizes available.

Load A4

A4 is for european size, if you are printing on a letter size this is a mismatched.
you need to change your files printer properties to A4 or letter size, or change your printer paper size.
better yet cancel this document and send it again , this time by checking the printer properties was set to your desired paper size
