Question about Vizio VW42LF 42 in. LCD HDTV
I have a dvr cable going to the tv nothing else
I assume that you are dissatisfied with the quality of the picture on
the HDTV. Are you feeding it with an HD signal. First, it
must be an HD source, either over the air HD or a cable channel in HD
(not all "digital" signals are HD signals). Second, you must be
sending it with the proper cable, either HDMI or at the very least RGB
Component Cables (not composit video).
It is quite common to see standard definition on HDTV's actually look worse than on standard def sets. The reason is the extra pixles availble on the HDTV make you realize how low of resolution the standard def signal is. Instead of it just being fuzzy or unclear, it will actually look bad.
