Question about GE GSS22JERBB 34" 21.9 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator w/ Tall LightTouch Dispenser, FrostGuard T...
My GE refrigerator is cooling but is no making ice. Last weekend the ice counter was full , then I turned the icemeker off, and I realized next morning I had let the freezer door a little bit open. I took out de ice and turned the ice maker on, but after that it's no making ice
When the door was open thawing and freezing occurred and your ice maker is now frozen up. there may even be ice in the water line feeding the ice maker.
Empty the entire side by side and unplug it for 24 hours with both doors open. This will solve your problem.
Your cold and frozen food will have to be stored elsewhere during this process so nothing spoils.
