Question about HP Photosmart M525 Digital Camera
Ok, so, One day When i tried to take a picture with my Kodak easyshare m1063 and everything turned on and worked fine, but when i look at the screen it is all black as if something is blocking the lense. When i press the button to try to take a picture, it flashes and all, but the picture showes up as all black. it's like there is something blocking the lense, but nothing is there!
I have an easyshare and there's a 2 part lens cover that closes when you turn it off and opens when you turn it on - normally. Mine only closes one part of the cover when I turn it off and opens when I turn it on. Kodak said I could send it in but I may have sat on it and caused it to malfunction. In which case they wouldn't cover it. Yours sounds like it's not opening at all. Look at the lens, and if you see a flat black cover with a wavy line instead of glass when you turn it on, yours is stuck shut. If it's still under warranty they should fix it unless you sat on yours too. Consumer Reports rated these a best buy but somehow this problem fell through the cracks of their testing.
