I am trying to hook up my Craig cmd420 car dvd player. The player is working fine but neither of the moniters will turn on. Can someone please tell me how to connect them properly?

I ordered this brand new and everything was still in the packaging but I can not seem to get power to either of the moniters. I have 5 hundred different cords so I am sure it is just a matter of connecting it correctly...

Hello
[1] Insert the batteries into the Craig DVD player. Depending on the model you are using, the batteries are either rechargeable lithium-ion batteries or store-purchased AA batteries.
[2] Plug the 3.5mm cable into the headphone jack on the side of the Craig DVD player
[3] Insert the opposite end of the cable into the "Aux" connection on the car stereo. Without this audio-input option, you will be unable to hook the Craig DVD player up to your vehicle.
[4] Power on the Craig DVD player and insert the desired DVD. The video will load onto the display screen while the audio is played through the car's stereo system.

Car DVD Player Blue Screen with "Rear No Signal" message

Most likely its the ignition wire.. That 12 volt line let's it know when the switch is turned.. If the radio is cutting on it may simply be interfering either that or its too much with the control wire this is why its better to get the one in the dash and run the video moniter off the aux video out instead of trying to run 2 separate units

Craig dvd player, model CVD327, won't play

no, s video is not required to work. if you hooked up 3 colors to the tv 3 colors. make sure it's on video 1 or aux channel. and as long the dvd player is on and that channel is on, if that does not work, try on another tv that has same connection. if that doesn't work, then we know that dvd player doesn't work.

Hi Definition

I believe the craig CVD329 is a progressive DVD player, not a HD DVD player. It can not read HD DVD discs, it can only read regular DVD discs.

Craig portable dvd player

I have this same DVD player and had the same problem. I have recently discovered that when we open the flip top, one of the "joints" that keeps the flip top attached to the player kind of pops out? We had to snap it back into place after opening the DVD player. Our light still does not come on but the player does work. Just a suggestion!
