Question about HP DeskJet 920c InkJet Printer

Hp 920c i recently purchased new printer cartridge for my hp 920c prinet. when I have put them in the machine the cartridge led on the printer is flashing and willn ot allow me to print. I have checked that the cartrides are the correct number for the printer and they are the right ones. Could anyone please advise me what the problem might be or if I need to do something in order to solve the problem? Thanks

Do you have the print cartridge that you replace from this printer. Put it back in and see if you print you may have purchased a bad cartage

My HP DeskJet 920c prints pink instead of blue, new cartridge has been cleaned and blue is visible on swab.

Try running multiple "head cleanings" on it, or you might have the cartridge in the wrong location (if thats possible on that model). If not, then the interface board on the printhead may be faulty or the ribbon cable the sends the signal to the printhead assembly. Most of the InkJet printers made now days are considered disposable electronics by the manufactures. Due to the low price point and the lack of parts support or cost of labor to repair when they do stop working right. Good Luck

Light flashes cartridge change, and change the cartridge and still flashing hp deskjet 920c

Make sure Orange protective cap (tape) has been removed from the bottom of the ink cartridge.
Either ink Cartridge is not installed properly or the function for detecting the ink level is disabled. Make sure that you install ink cartridges at correct position as indicated by the label on the print head holder. Press PUSH mark until ink cartridge click into the place.

I just put new black ink in hpdeskjet 920c but the signal light of no-ink is on...pls help!

o.k. make sure you took off the little sticker tab on the new cartridge. I know this may sound simple but it happens a lot.

Next, examine to make sure you placed the cartridge in properly.

Unplug your printers power and wait a minute.

Plug it back in and power it on. See if this resolve your problem.

rerun a printer cartridge alignment and configuration for your new cartridge .

Put in new ink cartridge -- won't print

Try lifting up the cover. If the ink level is low in a print cartridge, the Print Cartridge Status light stops flashing. If the problem is not related
to low ink, the light continues to flash after the cover is opened. It might be that the new cartridge is defective. Check the connections and see if there isn't anything keeping it from making contact.

i think your color ink cartridge is near to empty that's why you are experiencing a pause printing..
try to replace it and try to print again..

The printer HP920c ink leaks

The Cleaning station is filled with ink AND the cartridge is broken, this can be caused by using a [poorly?] refilled cartridge.
To solve this you have to disassemble the printer and clean the cleaning station, replace the absorbent pad and replace the ink cartridge.

Ink LED is constantly blinking. Printer does not respond.

The ink LED has 3 causes that make it blink. One is that the top cover of the printer is not well shut. Try opening it and closing it. If you?re lucky you?re home free by now. The second , simple enough, is that you?re out of ink and have to replace the cartridge. This is easy to check ? open the cover and look for the yellow arrow on the ink head. It should point on one of the small images according to the state of the ink. The two left ones indicate an empty cartridge that needs to be replaced. Note: sometimes a cartridge you get with a new printer contains less ink then a newly purchased one. Third cause is that you got the wrong type of cartridge, or that they?re not inserted well. Were they changed just now? In any case the right type is: Black: HP 6615A Series or HP No. 15 Tri-Color: HP C6578 Series or HP No. 78 Hope it works out!
