You can remove the write protection status by inserting it to your camera and in the preview mode click the button menu, in that scroll down for options and you can see there the option for protection on or off. toggle that option.thanks for using fixya!. please dont forget to rate my solution.

You may also try power resetting the Camera. Power resetting can be done by removing the batteries from the Camera and then press and hold the POWER BUTTON of the Camera for 15 seconds and then reinsert the batteries after 1 minute.
If the issue persists, service may be required.
