First I want to say I am dissapointed to read all of the problems with the Skycaddie. You have some very upset customers. Secondly, I think that you should have a support system in place with out a $19.95 charge to help customers with their problems. I did have my son fix the problem and it only cost me a $5.00 lunch which we were going to lunch anyway. I hope you improve your customer support system quickly. As far as how he fixed the problem, send me $19.95 and I will let you know.

Cancel Your Amazon Prime Membership
You can cancel a paid or free Amazon Prime membership in the Settings section ofYour Account. Manage Your Prime Membership.
Do one of the following:
To cancel a paid membership, click End membership, which is the second option on the left-hand side of the page.
Note: Paid members who haven't used their Amazon Prime benefits, including the Kindle Owners' Lending Library, One Day Delivery and Prime Instant Video, will be eligible for a full refund.
To cancel a free trial, click Do not continue, which is the second option on the left-hand side of the page.
Note: If you have a free trial you'll receive benefits until your free trial period ends. Then your membership will cancel, and your card won't be charged. If you decide later in the free trial to continue your membership, you can change this setting back by clicking Continue membership. You can opt out at any time during the free trial period.
You can also choose to set a renewal reminder by selecting Remind me Later in "Do not continue", which is accessible in Your Account, under "Manage Prime membership". (This reminder option won't be available if your renewal date is within the next three days.)
You need the CaddieSync software installed on a PC.
If you have not already done so, you can download the software HERE.
Connect your SkyCaddy to the PC.
You can renew your membership on the Account Overview page in CaddieSync.
If your membership has expired:
Turn on your SkyCaddie and connect it to your computer.
If No SkyCaddie Synced appears in the lower navigation bar, click the Sync button.
To ensure your courses are updated and downloaded to your SkyCaddie, click the COURSES tab at the top of the CaddieSync screen and select Favorites. You can manage your courses on this page or download courses to update your SkyCaddie.
Click the ACCOUNT tab in the upper navigation bar.
Login with your username and password.
If you do not recall your password, click Forgot your username or password?.
On the Account Overview page, click link the Renew link under Actions at the lower right of the CaddieSync window.
If your membership has not expired, you can use the same procedure to renew.
When you renew your membership within 90 days of expiration, you
retain your current expiration date as your activation anniversary. You
do not risk losing your membership by renewing early.
Did you download the courses of choice first before you tried to renew after applying the update?
If your membership has been renewed and the SkyCaddie still displays a
renewal reminder, your renewal information was not successfully
communicated to the SkyCaddie. To finalize the renewal process, please
download the courses of your choice to the SkyCaddie from your
Favorites list in CaddieSync. The download communicates your new
expiration date to the SkyCaddie.
